Position:
An opportunity has arisen for an eESS Administrator working within the HR Department based at Lister Street, University Hospital Crosshouse. The position is a fixed term or secondment opportunity until 30th November 2026.
What you will do:
Working within the Resourcing Team, you will manage all employment services processes and provide support and advice to staff and managers on:
1. terms and conditions of service including relevant HR policies
2. all contractual and payroll information
3. all aspects of the HR Information system (eESS) including
4. ensuring that all data held within the system is accurate and held securely including, for example, post structure and attendance information.
5. providing workforce information/reports
6. checking professional registrations
7. user account support of eESS
8. providing training and support to managers on eESS functionality

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Educated to HNC level or equivalent knowledge, you will have excellent IT skills with the ability to use various systems and software packages, particularly an HR system, Excel and Access, together with a sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures and NHS pay and conditions of service. With well developed communication and interpersonal skills, you will have the confidence and ability to communicate with staff and managers at all levels of the organisation. You will have the ability to work effectively in a busy environment and manage conflicting demands, demonstrable organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
