About the Role The Compliance Team plays a vital role in ensuring MacIntyre operates safely and effectively. As an Internal Auditor, you will be a key member of the team, conducting audits and inspections across our services for adults, young people, and children. Key Responsibilities: Conduct 1-3 internal audits and inspections per week, documenting findings and creating action plans. Support operational teams in implementing and completing audit actions. Ensure compliance with CQC/CIW/Ofsted (or equivalent) standards and regulations. Support the induction of new managers into Health & Safety and compliance requirements. Promote the health and safety of people who draw on our support, staff, and stakeholders. Conduct risk assessments and ensure necessary safeguards are in place. Coach, train, and mentor Practitioners on best practices. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant legislation and internal policies. Home based with the option to work from a local area office if preferred. Regular travel to different work locations throughout the North of England.
