Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 (Women’s RWC 2025) will be the 10th edition of the women's tournament.World Rugby, in partnership with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and UK Sport, have formed a Local Operating Company to plan and deliver the event.
Ambitions for the tournament are at an all-time high as women’s rugby is one of the fastest growing team sports in the world. Women’s RWC 2025 will be the ultimate stage for the best players, teams and coaches from 16 nations across the globe and is set to be the biggest and most widely watched women's rugby event ever. Women’s RWC 2025 LOC is looking to appoint anAccreditation Coordinator to be responsible for liaising with venues across the UK in addition to working closely with a number of key stakeholders to support in the delivery of the Accreditation project for the tournament.
Reporting to the Accreditation Manager, there will be a close working relationship with the operations teams and client groups within the LOC and World Rugby Events and Media. The Accreditation Coordinator will also be responsible for managing a group for Accreditation volunteers on venue.
What you’ll be doing:
* Taking responsibility for a number of venues and stakeholders, to engage and prepare them for the accreditation process for the tournament.
* Build, develop and maintain positive relationships with venue operators, client group leads, partners and stakeholders.
* Presenting and training clients on the accreditation process, how to use the Accreditation System and supporting them throughout the project.
* Processing secure information provided by client groups submitting data throughout the accreditation system.
* Providing regular data and issue reporting to key stakeholders.
* Supporting specific clients in the visa process
* Conducting site visits to venues and contributing to the accreditation operations zoning plans.
* Planning and coordinating accreditation centre operations.
* Working with and training a group of volunteers.
* Producing and distributing Accreditation to key stakeholders.
* Supporting Accreditation and the LOC throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Experience & knowledge you’ll need:
* Proven experience within the accreditation functional area.
* Knowledge of accreditation principles and processes in sports.
* Demonstrable experience in using accreditation or data management systems.
* Strong experience communicating and liaising with a variety of different stakeholders on varying levels.
* Experience in problem solving, issue resolution and open to change.
* Demonstrable experience of presenting to small and large groups.
* Experience in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple individuals across a varied portfolio of responsibilities.
