We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Walsall/Wolverhampton who are seeking an enthusiastic andmitted Geography Teacher to join their team in September. This is a full-time and long-term role for the autumn term with the potential of going permanent. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. You must be a qualified teacher (ECTs are wee to apply) and have recent experience teaching Geography to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Job Description:
6. Delivering engaging and creative Geography lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
7. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
8. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
9. Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
10. Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
Requirements:
11. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's wee to apply.
12. Bachelor's degree in Geography or related field
13. Recent experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.
14. Strong behaviour/classroom management.
15. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
