Our vision is to be the best energy company in serving our 3.As a Lead Engineer the successful candidate will provide subject expertise to lead with delivery of key planning activity including the development of asset investment strategy and plans, asset plan optimisation, candidate selection and lead key internal and external engagement activities.

~ Develop asset investment strategy and plans, covering asset risk management plans, asset renewal policy and selection criteria
Technically assure the development of our asset renewal candidates across multiple workstreams, to inform capital scheme development
Lead our regulatory engagement in relation to asset health indices via the Network Asset Risk Metric (NARM) framework
Effectively communicate with internal/external engineering bodies
Excellent technical knowledge, including a good understanding of the LV, HV, EHV and 132kV network
Able to deliver high quality outputs to required deadlines
Highly numerate with strong data manipulation skills
Experienced in risk management
Knowledge of the principles of power systems and the associated assets within the systems
Experienced in applying core risk management techniques, including qualitative and quantitative risk modelling, risk assessments and development risk management plans
A working understanding of developing and implementing integrated risk management solutions across programmes and projects
Proficient in the use of Excel, Access or equivalent tools to source and interpret data from a variety of sources and produce standard and non-standard reports.
Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
Project management qualifications
Knowledge of UK electrical distribution equipment including the LV, HV, EHV and 132kV networks
Experience managing projects or programmes of work
Experience in using SQL and NoSQL databases and manipulating data using tools like Excel, Oracle
Analytics, Power BI or equivalent
