Emergency Department Progress Chaser - Band 3 maternity cover.
An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Directorate of Emergency Medicine. Working closely with the Nurse in Charge, you will play a crucial role within the Directorate supporting patient flow within the Emergency Department.
We are looking for a full-time position on 3 x 12 hour shifts per week.
With the guidance of the Nurse in Charge, you will be responsible for:
1. Chasing investigations and liaising with multidisciplinary teams to support timely discharges and transfers.
2. Producing a daily log of actions to support the 4 hour breach analysis, which is to be presented to your line manager following each shift.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to further their development. You will be committed to your own personal development and must have the ability to manage a busy workload, working to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a very busy environment. Proven effective communication skills are also important.
