ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as General Manager will be to lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, whilst meeting regulatory requirements, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care based on best practice.
* Being responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.
* Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in residents' wellbeing.
* Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
* Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
* Ensuring costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls, by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.

* Have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment, leading high volume, elderly care services across multiple disciplines.
* Have Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
* Hold a current NMC.
* Possess excellent leadership and management skills.
* Have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT.
* Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Qualifications
* You must have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment, leading high volume, elderly care services across multiple disciplines. You must also hold a Leadership and Management Level 5 qualification or equivalent, a current NMC registration, and possess excellent leadership and management skills.
