We are currently looking for a Customer Service Specialist - Export to join us at Doncaster. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Specialist – Export will be responsible for providing a value-added service to both internal and external customers, and to respond positively and professionally in a timely manner with enthusiasm, accuracy and reliability. Working within a wider team, the role requires excellent communication skills to manage the workload and delivery for rolling export and intercompany trade order book.
The role
* To receive and accurately process customer orders, respond to emails in a timely manner with 100% price matching.
* To ensure all relevant export documentation is completed ready for dispatch, export procedures are followed, booking of transport when necessary, ensuring customer expectations are met within timescales.
* Works with the Distribution function to glean information for customers of volume estimations.
* Prioritises workloads per site, picking, packing and loading activity.
* Resolves customer queries, investigates and validates request, generates credit/debit notes.
* Ensures consistency in their approach and ways of working when dealing with customers; is accountable and knowledgeable.
* Establishes and maintains relevant open lines of communication with other OCs, export customers and the wider business.
* Proactively suggests improvements to further enhance best practice and service delivery.
* Has the ability to work as part of a team and actively participates in conference calls/skype meetings.
* Completes daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and reports in line with management requests and business requirements.
* Undertakes any other reasonable task within their capability.
* Demonstrates awareness of H & S requirements for self, department and site.
* Participates fully in the Work Safe programme.
The profile
The successful candidate will have previous experience of SAP alongside sound knowledge of export documentation and processes. Previous experience of working within an export role would be beneficial however this isn’t mandatory. Experience of analysing information and working within a busy, fast paced environment would also be beneficial to the role.
The role is fully office based at Doncaster working Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
