Minimum Requirements:
You will have a relevant professional qualification in Early Years, Education, Health, or Social Services, preferably educated to degree level or equivalent. You will have substantial experience of working in a family support context using a 'Think Family' approach. You will be confident and assertive in your multi-agency working and have experience of working at a senior level in supporting a small team.
We will prioritize the development of an awareness of trauma-informed and systemic working practice and aim to continue to develop and deliver excellent local services for families in a flexible and inclusive way. This will involve motivation and innovation as well as a good sense of humor. You will also need to be able to drive. We welcome people from black and ethnic minorities, people with a disability, and male workers who are currently underrepresented in this service.
Bright Start Children's Centre Services offers an exciting opportunity to deliver services for families and children under five living within Bath and North East Somerset. We are looking for a motivated person with experience of working in partnership with parents and Early Childhood Services (Health Visiting, Midwifery, and Early Years settings) and Voluntary Sector organizations.
About the Job:
The job involves working closely alongside children and their families through Family Support work, primarily delivering research-based practice within the family home. It involves working with a range of agencies to support vulnerable children and families access the right help, at the right time, by the right service, and as early as possible, so that they thrive and achieve the best outcomes possible. This is known as Early Help.
