Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for General Radiologist with specialist interest in Chest. The appointees will be required to contribute to the general workload of the department. The posts are whole time 10 PA, and the appointees will be expected to participate in the general radiology on-call rota, following the 3-month probation period and internal assessment. After 9pm weekdays and after 5pm weekends, the on-call is outsourced to an external agency. Family-friendly and part-time working can be considered.

Job responsibilities
Medway Imaging Department is well equipped with 2 x CT Toshiba machines (1 x 64 slice & 1 x 126 slice), 2 MRI machines (1xGE 3T HDXT & 1x1.5 T Siemens Magnetom Aera), an Ultrasound Suite consisting of 5 Toshiba Ultrasound systems, 3 Fluoroscopy Suites, and 2 Interventional Suites. The successful candidate would join a progressive department led by young and dynamic Consultant colleagues.
Applicants must hold a Radiology degree (ideally FRCR or equivalent) with broad training in Radiology.

Qualifications
* Full GMC Registration and FRCR
* CCST/CCT/CESR or equivalent in (or will obtain within 6 months of interview date)
* IELTS (Academic) level 7.5, or graduate of a Medical School in UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, USA or Canada.
Knowledge
* Clinical Governance principles
Skills
* The post holder will have to be competent in CT, Plain Film, and Ultrasound. MRI would be beneficial.
