Vacancy Location: Ty Cwm Gwendraeth, Llannon Road, Upper Tumble, Llanelli SA14 6BU
Shifts: Full-time 38 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)
Pay Rate: Basic rate of £12.30 per hour
Additional Pay: If you work shifts at Ty Cwm Gwendraeth or Cwm Gwendraeth, you will be entitled to an additional gross 50p an hour for all shifts. These rates are discretionary and subject to change in line with business need.

What is Involved
As a Chef, you will play a vital role in the operation of our Care Homes, providing high-quality meals. You will prepare and produce excellent quality meals to high standards, welcome the people we support warmly, and collaborate with colleagues to provide efficient support and supervision to our kitchen staff. You will plan meals consulting with residents and staff to ensure individual dietary needs and preferences are carefully planned, and ensure that all Health and Safety and relevant legislation is adhered to.
Role Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality food tailored to people’s needs.
2. Follow procedures to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable care in food provision.
Essential Skills
1. 12 months of cooking experience.
2. Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference.
3. Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve.
4. Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable).
5. A commitment to undertake training and development.
Desirable Skills
1. Previous experience of kitchen work within a social care setting.
2. Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities.
3. Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks.
4. Confident IT user.
