As we continue to grow, we are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Assistant to help expand our digital presence and engagement.
Role Overview
The Volunteer Social Media Assistant will play a key role in managing and growing AVERio’s online presence across various social media platforms. This hands-on role involves content creation, social media research, engagement with our audience, and utilizing AI tools to enhance our content strategy. You’ll work closely with the founding team to ensure our messaging aligns with AVERio’s broader goals.
Responsibilities
* Content Creation: Develop and schedule engaging content (graphics, videos, and copy) for AVERio’s social media platforms.
* Social Media Management: Assist in managing and monitoring social media accounts, responding to comments, messages, and interactions.
* Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to inform content strategies.
* AI Integration: Utilize AI tools to generate images and support content creation efforts.
* Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with AVERio’s brand tone and messaging.
* Engagement Growth: Help increase audience engagement and reach by exploring new trends, hashtags, and campaign strategies.
* Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on social media performance, identifying opportunities for optimization.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to align social media activities with overall business goals.
Key Skills and Qualities
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
* Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with an ability to create compelling content.
* Basic design skills using tools like Canva or Gamma.
* Experience with social media scheduling tools is a plus.
* Ability to analyze and interpret social media metrics.
* A proactive and creative mindset with a passion for digital marketing and engagement.

Time Commitment
