Spider is advertising on behalf of this successful company who are looking for a dedicated Showroom Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in Hadleigh, Suffolk.

About the role:
As a Showroom Assistant, you will be at the forefront of customer engagement efforts, playing a vital role in the efficient day-to-day operation of the showroom. You will assist customers with radiator sales, provide essential administrative support, and collaborate closely with designers and directors on various projects. In this role, you will be required to work 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Manage incoming inquiries via in-person visits, phone calls, and emails.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, identifying and addressing their needs.
* Maintain accurate records and relevant information on the company's IT systems.
* Generate client quotations and invoices, processing necessary paperwork.
* Follow up on customer quotations to drive sales.
* Process purchase orders and manage online sales inquiries.
* Keep showroom displays attractive and updated with new product ranges.
* Monitor stock levels and manage supplies efficiently.
* Assist with maintaining and developing the company website and social media presence.
* Conduct radiator site surveys as needed.
* Collaborate with the team to support ongoing business development initiatives.
* Uphold the company's mission, values, and policies in all interactions.
About you:
You will be a proactive communicator with a strong customer service mindset. Previous experience with design software like Vector and Virtual Worlds is desirable. You will possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A background in retail, administrative support, or customer service is highly desirable. You will be detail-oriented and demonstrate a keen interest in promoting business growth.
