The role will include working in our Early Pregnancy and Gynaecology Unit and supporting our Gynaecology diagnostic lists, which include Hysteroscopy and Colposcopy. We offer a friendly environment and provide support in your clinical development.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a high standard of nursing care without direct supervision, based upon a sound evidence base.
* Manage a group of patients throughout a shift as delegated by the Lead Nurse.
* Work within the N.M.C Guidelines and Trust Policies recognizing one's own abilities and limitations.
* Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for a specified group of patients.
* Act as a team leader, delegating appropriate tasks and supervising the standard of care delivered by unqualified staff and learner nurses.
* Create and utilize opportunities to promote health and well-being of patients in their care.
Applicant Requirements
* You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
* This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.
Experience and Knowledge
* Undertaken wide experience during training in an acute setting.
* Able to demonstrate clinical knowledge, skills and expertise.
* Demonstrate the use of evidence-based practice in a care setting.
* Knowledge and application of NMC Code of Conduct.
Qualifications & Training
* NMC Registered.
* Nursing Degree/Diploma/Nearing the completion of NMC approved nurse training.
