Are you quality-minded and have a keen eye for detail? An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Welsh Blood Service. We are seeking to employ a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and highly organised individual to fulfil the role of QA Systems Administrator (Band 3) within the QA Systems department at the Talbot Green base. The post-holder will be responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support to the Quality Assurance Audit Team ensuring effective operations are maintained.
Provide efficient and effective administrative support for other QA Systems functions (such as Risk Management, Business Continuity, Change Control and Validation) as and when required, to support service delivery within the Welsh Blood Service.
Main duties of the job
Provide full and effective assistance to the QA Audit Manager, Senior QA Audit officer and Senior Managers within QA Systems to ensure comprehensive support in the execution of their duties to promote, develop and implement the audit programme.
Effectively monitor the follow up of actions arising from audit findings to ensure all are completed in a timely manner.
Regularly and accurately update manual and computerised records systems.
Provide administrative support and assistance for other QA Systems functions as and when required.
Assess and prioritise information and workload to maintain an efficient service.
The post holder will be required to carry out any other duties in accordance with the grade of the post as required, including the duties of the Change Control & Quality Systems Training Coordinator in their absence.

Qualifications and Knowledge
* Minimum of 4 GCSEs
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent knowledge and experience
* RSA, OC, ECDL or equivalent
* Educated to A level standard
Experience
* Experience working in a busy office environment
* Experience with computer packages especially tables and spreadsheets
* Experience of working in an NHS environment
* Use of Datix incident management System
