Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Healthcare Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare services, facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers, and managing administrative tasks. Responsibilities
1. Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring timely scheduling and follow-ups.
2. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
3. Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate communication.
4. Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to patient care.
5. Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for clinical staff.
6. Provide support in the implementation of healthcare programmes and initiatives.
7. Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
1. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Proficient in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. A compassionate approach towards patient care with strong interpersonal skills.
7. Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
