Teaching Personnel is seeking a vibrant and creative Art Teacher to join a well-recognised secondary school in Wallasey starting Sept 2024. Are you interested in working in a lively school in the Wirral and spread your love for Art and Design?
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an Art and Design Teacher for an immediate start. This is a great opportunity for any Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT), someone who is looking to return to teaching and has relevant experience, or someone who has a real passion for Art, design, and creativity.
The ideal candidate would have relevant knowledge of Art or come from a design background.
Key responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver inspiring Art and Design lessons to students aged 11-16.
2. Have a good knowledge of Art and Design and the theory behind it to provide constructive lessons.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents, students, and other teachers to help with their learning development.
4. Partake in extracurricular workshops and exhibitions.
5. Foster a positive learning environment, have strong classroom management skills, and create a dynamic and bright Art department.
Requirements
1. Relevant qualification or knowledge of Art and design.
2. Enhanced DBS cleared & uploaded to the update service (or willingness to apply).
3. Full right to work within the UK.
4. Have up-to-date safeguarding training or willing to take it (Provided for free by Teaching Personnel).
