A leading global Investment Bank is seeking a Vice President in Transaction & Accounting Advisory to play a key role in managing the financial impact of complex transactions. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on financial reporting, IFRS accounting treatments, and transaction structuring.
Operating at the intersection of finance and business strategy, this role involves advising on new products, ensuring seamless financial reporting, and driving efficiencies across transaction management. Key Responsibilities:
* Partnering with senior leadership to provide expert IFRS accounting advice on new transactions, products, and strategic initiatives;
* Leading the financial implementation of complex deals, ensuring robust reporting and compliance standards are met;
* Collaborating with finance teams, business units, and external advisors to drive optimal financial outcomes;
* Identifying opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and improve transaction workflows;
* Preparing approval recommendations and presenting financial insights to key stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
* ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification, with a strong technical grounding in IFRS accounting standards;
* Experience in financial transaction advisory, accounting policy, or a finance business partnering role within financial services, commodities, or banking;
* Most likely trained at an Accounting firm;
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate technical accounting principles into strategic business insights;
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly and effectively;
* A proactive and adaptable approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
