I am looking for capable, experienced, inquisitive IC Validation & Verification engineers to join a growing team of world-class engineers. You will be actively involved in developing cutting-edge technology solutions for flagship products developed by some of the worlds most recognised consumer brands.
You will work with a mixed discipline team comprising skilled electronics, software, firmware, mechanical and control engineers, and physicists / mathematicians to enhance and assess the performance of systems and will interface with some of the biggest names in Engineering to understand their requirements and deliver the assistance they need to use the company products.
Main responsibilities:
1. The creation and execution of test cases in python on simulation and FPGA platforms pre-tapeout, on silicon post-tapeout, and ATPG for production test to achieve right-first-time designs.
You will need:
1. 5+ years of experience in IC verification (simulation and FPGA) and validation (silicon).
2. Strong knowledge of python and object-oriented software design.
3. Strong automated test experience (functional, regression, reliability, performance).
4. Experience with System Verilog for IC/FPGA verification.
5. Excellent unit test skills, and experience with python frameworks (pytest, unittest).
6. Experience reporting KPI and code coverage metrics for IC verification and validation.
7. Experience with using hardware test equipment such as oscilloscopes and bench supplies.
It would be nice if you have:
1. Experience with unit test frameworks, build scripting, Jenkins CI/CD automation.
2. An appreciation of real time embedded firmware and CPU architecture.
3. Some electronics design experience is desirable along with general bench debug and test skills.
4. A working knowledge of mixed signal circuitry.
