Key responsibilities include: • Managing and developing the care team to ensure a positive and productive work environment • Overseeing the completion and monthly review of care plans for all residents • Ensuring medication management is adhered to, including regular audits, timely ordering, and correct handling • Motivating and supporting staff to deliver outstanding care • Maintaining compliance with company policies, safeguarding procedures, and industry regulations Key Competencies & Skills • Strong leadership and teamwork skills • Experienced in medicine management and medication audits • Ability to maintain high standards of care, even under pressure • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Time management and flexibility in working hours • A commitment to personal development and career progression Essential Criteria • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3) • At least three years’ experience in a residential or nursing home setting, with a minimum of one year working with people living with dementia • Comprehensive understanding of Person-Centred Care principles • Awareness of safeguarding procedures and how to handle allegations of abuse • Ability to work within 30 minutes of the home Preferred Criteria • Experience in a Deputy Manager role or similar leadership position • Knowledge of health and safety in care settings and relevant regulations This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join a care team that values both its residents and its staff.
