About the Role: TPF Recruitment is delighted to be supporting one of our valued clients in the local area with their search for a skilled and motivated Accounts Semi-Senior to join their expanding team. Key Responsibilities: As an Accounts Semi-Senior, your role will include but not be limited to: Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies in line with accounting standards. Producing management accounts and providing insightful analysis for clients. Preparing VAT returns and ensuring timely submission. Assisting with bookkeeping duties and resolving client queries. Supporting the preparation of tax computations and returns. Liaising directly with clients to gather information and provide updates on their accounts. Working closely with senior team members to support the smooth delivery of client services. Identifying opportunities to improve client processes and add value to their businesses. Requirements About You: The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality service to clients. You should possess: Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice, working on a range of accounts preparation and bookkeeping tasks. Qualifications: Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent or qualified by experience. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
