Youth Support Worker

About the role:
As a Youth Support Worker, you will support vulnerable young people who present complex social care needs. You will monitor their ability to manage everyday living, access education, training, or employment, and tend to their self-care and health care needs while promoting independence.
About you:
A successful candidate will have the ability to engage with young people in a positive and proactive manner. You will be reliable, honest, and able to listen and empathise with the young people, serving as a good influence and role model with hobbies to share.
Pay starts from £11.44 per hour PAYE and £14.57 per hour Umbrella + Sleep in.
Requirements for you as a Youth Support Worker:
* Experience in youth work/keywork with children and young people.
* Confident in working independently and being proactive.
* Self-motivated individual with clear communication skills.
* Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the update service.
* Be flexible with working hours.
Shift Times for you as a Youth Support Worker:
* 9am - 11pm plus sleep in
* Shift finishes at 9am the next day with a handover.
* 24 Hour Shifts
* Ad hoc shifts available.
* Some weekend work will be required.
