The Salvation Army, Sale Corps operates a busy Community Programme, which works to meet the needs of the local community and support the work of The Salvation Army.
We are looking to recruit a part-time cleaner. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the building is clean, neat & tidy and ready for use while maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Self-motivation, good time keeping, reliability, honesty, and integrity are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning, vacuuming, and dusting throughout the building, including ancillary rooms, offices, and entrances.
2. Cleaning all horizontal and vertical surfaces.
3. Cleaning toilets, sinks, and washing toilet floors.
4. Ensuring toilet supplies are replenished.
5. Cleaning kitchen surfaces and floors, emptying and cleaning waste bins, and removing rubbish.
6. Informing the Community Manager of cleaning supplies needs.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
1. Previous cleaning experience.
2. Ability to work alone and use initiative.
3. Knowledge of Health & Safety.
4. A willingness to learn and be trained if their experience is limited.
5. Ability to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army.
