We’re now revolutionising the business energy market, with a focus on helping micro businesses with our transparent approach to engaging with new business prospects. Here at Octopus, we’re working hard to reinvent face-to-face activity by combining better customer data, our innovative tech platform (Kraken Technologies) with local targeted marketing in order to create more detailed and engaging conversations with small business owners. You’ll be at the frontline of our brand and as such, you’re responsible for showing the best of Octopus Energy Business.
What you'll do
* Communicate with businesses: Our Business Energy Helpers spend their time talking to small business owners and decision makers explaining the benefits of renewable energy and helping them switch to Octopus Energy Business.
* We are obsessed with excellent customer experience and we go above and beyond to ensure this happens with every business we speak to, leaving them feeling positive about Octopus, regardless if they switch.
* Engage with customers through various channels, primarily at their business, while also showcasing our services at venues, events, and business expos and conferences around the country.
* Help shape the small business products we offer by providing feedback that helps build new tariffs, launch new initiatives, and make changes to existing tariffs.
* Enhance the customer experience with the tools to discuss domestic energy, solar, heat pumps, and many more additional services.
What you'll need
* Ability to self-motivate and work confidently on your own, as well as in small teams.
* Honest and hardworking approach to each day is essential.
* Previous experience in a B2B role or in the energy industry is advantageous, although not essential.
* Understanding of the business sales cycle, including diary planning and pipeline management would be helpful.
* A caring team spirit with regular team check-ins and catch-ups.
* An appetite to learn new things and treat people fairly and respectfully.
