Job Description
It is essential that candidates have a Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent, be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, be self-motivated, and have excellent communication skills.
A knowledge of NEC contract compilation and administration and a current full driving licence is essential.
Candidates should be able to cope with pressure and be organised within the operational team to ensure deadlines are met. You will manage your own performance as well as a small team of roads technicians and roads inspectors, ensuring that statutory timescales are met. Daily communication with elected members and stakeholders is required, along with providing excellent customer service.
Previous experience of dealing with the public and statutory agencies, supervisory skills, IT skills, and the ability to work alone or as part of a team are essential.
