An opportunity has arisen to join our team, supporting our Paraplanner together with our other two technical administrators.
We are a Chartered Financial Planning firm, run by one of the very few female financial planners in the UK, offering award winning financial planning advice to our clients. We are a small, friendly, hardworking team, and are looking for someone who has a great working ethos that matches our own, being highly ethical and putting our clients at the centre of everything we do.
You will be someone who:
* Can confidently navigate an excel spreadsheet, dealing with numbers every day
* Can write a good letter, report or email that is both professional and easy to understand
* Is happy to speak to clients and businesses on the phone
* Is an avid learner, quick to understand complex processes
* Has exceptional attention to detail
* Is confident in doing and prioritising many varied tasks throughout the day
* Is a team player but can confidently work on their own
Your typical day could include:
* Gathering and analysing investment fund and product data
* Drafting investment valuation reports
* Liaising with clients and product providers
* Arranging meetings for the adviser and dealing with any associated paperwork.
* Using Intelliflo (IO) back office system to input client, plan, and activity data, and manage workflows.
* Processing new business, from gathering client data, preparing applications, chasing and keeping the client updated to checking the business has been completed correctly
* Preparing and recording fee notes
* Navigating providers websites to obtain illustrations, information, and reports.
* Placing investment purchases and sales online
* Checking contract notes for accuracy and inputting on back office computer system
* Obtaining commission statements and performing income reconciliation
* Plus, many other tasks
Experience in Financial Services is preferred but not essential as training will be given, however this is a technical role, and you must be able to demonstrate a history appropriate for the position or have a clear ambition to move into a technical role.
