Job summary The Nutrition and Dietetic Service at Lister Hospital offers an opportunity for a dietitian to join their adult team. You will jointly provide leadership, management and mentorship for the acute dietitians alongside another lead whilst retaining a clinical caseload. You will also assist in facilitating student training. You will provide a service to parenterally and enterally fed patients and the intensive care unit and contribute to a weekly nutrition round as part of an MDT. In addition, you will have a small home enteral feeding caseload working closely with other members of the team, as well as enteral feeding nurses to deliver a specialist service to patients in their own homes and care homes. This position is part of a larger team of Dietitians serving Hertfordshire, spanning various specialties e.g. paediatrics, neurology, and oncology. We collaborate with other Trusts and stakeholders to provide comprehensive dietetic care to patients in Hertfordshire. Contributing to the training of student dietitians from the University of Hertfordshire is another rewarding aspect of this role.
