Please note this is a fixed term position for 21 months \r Working hours: 31 hours per week \r Interview Date: To be confirmed \r An opportunity of for a motivated, passionate and dynamic individual to help us to provide personalised intervention programmes for homeless people, supporting them on their individual journeys from the street to home through the Stages of the Homelessness Pathway on the Island. \r he Salvation Army, Isle of Wight Homelessness Service provides accommodations for 49 men and women and services for those people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless across the Isle of Wight. \r Key Responsibilities: As Apprentice Support Worker you will work towards Adult Care Worker Level 3 standards and will learn to develop and deliver a high-quality person-centred programme of support, promoting client’s strengths, independence and choice. You will learn the necessary skills to address client support needs, enable them to achieve positive life changes and ultimately empower them to lead fulfilling lives. The role includes meeting with clients on a one-to-one basis, working alongside clients to address emotional and psychological trauma, substance misuse, mental health, physical health and wellbeing.
