About the Role The Portfolio Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising a portfolio of strategic automotive supply chain and forecasting projects. They maintain a deep awareness of execution details while staying elevated enough to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across multiple projects. They will be intimately familiar with project execution, particularly for key initiatives, and capable of communicating clear status updates, risks, and recommendations at a senior level. Beyond tracking progress, they will enforce adherence to scope, implement efficient project systems, and coach teams to drive accountability and best practices. This role requires collaboration with senior leadership, research analysts, data scientists, product teams, and external development partners to ensure projects align with business objectives and deliver measurable impact. What We're Looking For Basic Required Qualifications - Portfolio Management Experience - Minimum 7-10 years of experience in portfolio, program, or project management, specifically within a data and insights product company. Candidates must have a proven track record of managing multiple data-driven projects, overseeing forecasting, analytics, or AI-driven solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Education & Certifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred. - Project & Program Management Expertise - Strong ability to oversee multiple projects, manage interdependencies, enforce governance, and drive execution. - Data & Analytical Skills - Comfortable working with data manipulation and analysis, tracking KPIs, and using insights to inform decision-making. - Stakeholder Communication - Proven ability to engage with senior leadership, translate complex project details into clear updates, and influence decisions. - Software & Tools Proficiency - Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams), and AI-driven project tracking systems. - Agile & Program Governance - Experience working with Agile methodologies, enterprise portfolio management tools, and structured governance frameworks. - Experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
