Salary: Scale E Spinal point 5 (FTE £24,790) Actual pro rata Salary £10,297
Contract Type: Part-time, Fixed term until 17 July 2026.
Hours: 18.5 hours per week 14.45 – 18.15 Monday to Friday
Start Date: Tuesday, 2nd September 2025

The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated After-School Club Manager to lead our after-school provision. This role is pivotal in providing a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for our pupils beyond regular school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Programme Development: Design and implement a variety of engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development.
* Team Leadership: Supervise and support after-school club staff, fostering a collaborative and child-focused atmosphere.
* Child Welfare: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies.
* Parental Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for parents and carers, maintaining open and positive communication.
* Administrative Duties: Manage attendance records, oversee fee collections, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience: Working with children aged 4-11 in educational or childcare settings.
* Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team and create a positive working environment.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, parents, and staff.
* Qualifications: Relevant childcare or education qualifications are desirable.
