POSITION:
We are looking for an innovative, highly driven individual who is passionate about data to join our Data & Solutions Team as a Junior Business Information Analyst. To help us achieve our aim of becoming the Leisure Industry’s market leading business with data offering services and experiences.
Reporting to the Data & Solutions Team Leader the Junior Business Information Analyst will provide data imports/migrations, data and insight services and other bespoke customer data work. There is also the potential for delivering Data consultancy and bespoke reporting based on customer requirements using BI applications as well as other new services as our offering in the data area evolves.
The role requires a logical and methodical mindset with excellent attention to detail. Ideally, you will have some experience in querying SQL Server databases using Microsoft SQL code and be keen to develop your skills in this area. The individual will be given the opportunity to train and develop in this area, to realise the potential of this role.
You will liaise with customers and internal Project Managers to understand requirements and deliver relevant and appropriate solutions. The individual must also possess good time management skills and be comfortable working to deadlines. Communication on progress is also an essential aspect of the role.
This is a hybrid role with the potential to include consultancy work requiring travel to customer sites within the UK to consult and implement solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and deliver data imports and exports using Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Excel and internal company products
2. Ensure that work meets or exceeds project performance, reliability, and quality goals
3. Provide continuous development of the Data Import processes in line with developing technologies
4. Assist Sales & Professional Services with scoping of projects including accurate timescales
5. Deliver bespoke data solutions to a high standard to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Provide insight to customers based on analysing their data using appropriate tools.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
1. The ideal candidate is likely to have been educated to degree level or qualified by experience, and possess the following skills & experiences:
2. Experience of communicating to gather information and requirements internally or externally with stakeholders and end users. This also includes communication of progress back to all stakeholders as work is being completed.
3. Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
4. Experience of data manipulation techniques
5. Experience of creating SQL Code; Select Statements/Views/Stored Procedures within SQL Server Management Studio
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure desirable, but not essential
7. Ability to obtain the AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification within the first 3 months of employment
8. Knowledge/experience of the leisure industry would be advantageous, however not essential.

Travel will be required and therefore applicants must possess a full driving license and be prepared to stay away from home.
