UK Phoenix Healthcare is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Healthcare Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our services. Reporting to Dan Harris, BD Director, you will be responsible for securing new business, managing key relationships, and ensuring the successful implementation of care packages. This role requires extensive experience working with case managers, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), and Local Authorities (LAs), alongside a strategic approach to business development.
Salary range: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum + commission
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within the healthcare sector, focusing on ICBs, LAs, and case management companies.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive long-term partnerships.
* Complete tenders and proposals for framework agreements with LAs and ICBs.
* Develop and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
* Work closely with internal teams to arrange and implement care packages efficiently.
* Meet and exceed sales and growth targets, ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities.
* Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the UK (travel required).
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform strategy.
* Provide regular reports on business development performance and forecasts.
* Any other tasks as deemed necessary by the SMT.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in healthcare business development, with a strong track record of securing contracts.
* Extensive experience working with case managers, ICBs, and LAs.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
* Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
* Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
* A degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
