Nursery Manager

Job Duties:
Oversee the daily operation of the nursery
Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children
Communicate effectively with parents and families
Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and record-keeping
Required Qualifications:
Level 3 practitioner qualification
Previous experience in a managerial role within a nursery setting
Strong knowledge of early years education and development
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Education:
Level 3 childcare/practitioner qualification
Experience:
Previous managerial experience in a nursery setting
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of early years education and development
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage staff and maintain a positive work environment
Working Conditions:
Work in a nursery setting, potentially involving long hours and interaction with children and their families. Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
