What are the pay and benefits? The salary for this role is £32,512 for a 40 hour full time fixed term position Work Van and fuel card 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays, rising to 30 days with length of service Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence The successful candidate will need a basic DBS check in place, which we pay for. You will provide a repairs and maintenance service to our properties and will be expected to carry out a range of specified building maintenance works both as an individual craft professional and as a member of a multi-skilled team. The role requires you to predominately work on our voids team where you will carry out repairs in our unoccupied properties. We may ask from time to time for you to assist in other parts of the business such as reactive or planned. Our Pobl Trades Team in the East covers the area of Gwent and surrounding areas including Rhondda Cynon Taff, Cardiff and parts of Powys. Our office base is Cwmbran What skills and experience do you need? Proven experience of plastering undertaking repairs and maintenance on domestic and commercial properties. Plumbing and or carpentry experience alongside this is a plus. The required level of qualifications and education and experience to carry out all tasks required reasonably expected to be undertaken as per the post (we require evidence of qualifications) Excellent communication skills. Experience working in customers homes Awareness of Health and Safety requirements appropriate the to the role Ability to record, update job requests using a mobile device as required Ability to use own initiative.
