Job Description
Joining us as a Christmas Customer Advisor is a great opportunity, whether it’s your first job and you’re looking to gain some valuable experience, or you have experience with retail and you’re looking for a new challenge.
Whilst this is a temporary contract, there could be the potential for a permanent role later depending on the opportunities in your local area.
About the role
Christmas in Boots is our most exciting time of the year, and it can be very busy, so we’ll provide you with all the training and support you need.
You will work in a Boots store and report into the Assistant or Store Manager. Your role could include:
* Helping customers with questions and providing great advice on products.
* Ensuring products are properly displayed on the shop floor.
* Providing great service on our tills.
* Assisting with stock management in the stock rooms.
* Collaborating with team members to maintain a presentable store.
* Solving issues quickly and supporting daily operational activities.
What you’ll need to have
Full training is provided, but these are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role:
* Ability to excel in a varied environment, working at pace.
* Effective communication and listening skills.
* Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
* Understanding that small gestures can significantly impact customer interactions.
* Proudly representing Boots and assisting customers in finding the best products.
It would be great if you also have
* Experience in customer care and delivering excellent customer service.

We are now recruiting Christmas Customer Advisors for our Chester, Broughton Shopping Park store. We are looking for candidates to start with us from November onwards. We have a variety of shifts available, which may include weekends, and this is a full-time position. The exact shift patterns will be discussed at interview.
