Role: Locum Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician Banding: Band 6 Location: Coventry Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: £23 - £29 per hour Working hours: Full time The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Coventry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clinical trials, ensuring the safe and effective management of investigational medicinal products. Duties and Responsibilities: You will prepare and dispense clinical trial medications. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory and protocol requirements. You will maintain accurate records and documentation. You will collaborate with clinical trial teams to ensure the smooth operation of trials. You will provide expert advice on clinical trial pharmacy procedures. Qualifications and Experience: Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician. Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience. Extensive experience in clinical trials is essential. Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
