Job Summary: Digital Construction Manager
We're seeking a Digital Construction Manager to join our Regional Construction team in Plymouth or Exeter, working full-time on a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Digital Construction Manager, you will be responsible for enabling the use of digital tools and technologies to support project delivery from inception to in use. Your duties will include:
* Monitoring the completion of IM Gateway forms across all tenders to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
* Ensuring Exchange Information Requirements and Asset Information requirements are responded to and delivered across relevant projects.
* Managing and sharing information using the common data environment, adhering to ISO 19650 across relevant projects.
* Supporting and auditing the project team to ensure standards, methods, and procedures are in use.
* Sharing best practices with the Head of Digital Construction and working on continued improvement of PLM resources.
* Promoting digital strategies across the business and projects, providing feedback to the Senior Digital Construction Manager.
Requirements:
We're looking for applicants with the following skills and attributes:
* Good understanding of the ISO 19650 series of documents.
* Ability to discuss open BIM standards such as IFC and COBie to support information interoperability.
* Enthusiasm for using new technologies to improve traditional ways of working.
* Innovative approach, sharing ideas and challenging standard practices.
* Understanding and experience of appropriate software tools to view and interrogate models.
