We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lifecycle Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide expert support and implementation to ensure contract compliance. This will include planning and implementation of lifecycle programming, minor works, and major project works/maintenance across schools and leisure centres.
Supporting the Chief Engineer to create, review, and maintain a robust system of planned maintenance programmes that ensure integrity and reliability of service systems.
Location: Rochdale
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £65K Per Annum + Car Allowance + Benefits
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for ensuring all lifecycle programmes are up to date and that any works procurement is auditable in terms of value for money and probity.
2. Maintain a list of approved contractors which are regularly tested for best value and included in a tendering system which is fully auditable.
3. Contribute to producing submission bids for new contracts etc.
4. Contribute to ongoing reviews of all Planned Maintenance Systems, working with the Chief Engineer and Site Managers to ensure all manufacturers guidance and contractual compliance is achieved in the most cost-effective way.
5. Produce and maintain an estate terrier for all properties under contract which will include a measured survey of all buildings and sites, showing incoming and outgoing service points.
6. Consistently deliver high quality services to our clients.
7. Create and execute project work plans and revise as and where appropriate to ensure they are correctly specified, programmed, and delivered.
8. Review deliverables prepared by sub-contractors before passing to client.
9. Assure any required and relevant documentation is in place legally for any project works that are being carried out.
10. Ensure project documents are complete, current and recorded correctly including updates to drawings, room data sheets etc.
11. Calculate and document changes to PPM requirements/costs as required by clients.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in project management with a track record of successful project delivery.
2. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
3. Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
4. Familiarity with facility management.
5. Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
7. Relevant qualifications in engineering.
