The Role: We are looking to recruit a Delivery Driver who will be responsible for delivering our products to our customers in excellent condition, whilst providing exceptional customer service and the ability to resolve any issues or complaints raised by the customer at the point of delivery. The role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis of 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities: Loading, transporting, and delivering products to customers and other areas of the business within expected timeframes. Providing excellent customer service and handling complaints at point of delivery Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules Ensuring products such as garden furniture are delivered to customer in perfect condition. Moving stock (handling equipment provided for bulky/heavy items) Other work within the central warehouse and despatch department may be required in line with business needs. Skills and experience: Well-organised and demonstrate good time management to ensure all deliveries are made within expected time frames. Excellent communication and customer service skills as customer facing. Demonstrate a professional, enthusiastic, and flexible approach. Able to be responsive to challenges and demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience working as a driver would be beneficial but is not essential. Requirements: Must hold a clean manual Driver's License with minimum category B1. Capability to lift and move heavy or bulky items independently due to the main requirements of the role. Ability to use navigation systems and mobile apps for route planning. Adherence to company policies and procedures to ensure able to fulfil the role safely.
