We also pack commercial drug products into bottles, blisters and sachets and provide specialised packaging solutions for medical kits, vials and syringes. The expert services we provide supports the provision of medicines and treatments to patients around the world. An opportunity has arisen to join our Packaging & Logistics department in the role of Serialisation System Administrator. Serialisation in pharmaceutical packaging is the process of assigning unique markings on product packaging, giving the products a digital identity. Individual items, cases or pallets can be serialised to allow pharmaceutical drugs to be traced and provide supply chain visibility. The Serialisation System Administrator will be responsible for the administration of Almac’s global serialisation systems. The successful candidate will provide support and guidance of the use of Almac’s serialisation systems. They will be responsible for the documentation of product serialisation requirements and serialisation system configuration. They will perform a key role during the introduction of new products and the control of updates to existing product recipes / data, including the generation of labels. They will provide ongoing support for existing and new serialisation systems throughout the Pharma Services business. In this role, you will generate, review, and approve all relevant GMP documentation associated with the serialisation process – previous experience working within a regulated or GMP environment and the ability to demonstrate attention to detail would be beneficial. Effective written and oral communication skills and a proven ability of working effectively on your own initiative as well as in a team environment are integral to the success of your placement in this role. You will also need previous work experience preferably within an office/administration role and be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of MS office applications.
