Accounts Assistant - Norwich - Full or Part Time
£25,000 - £28,000 (pending experience)
Our client is seeking an experienced, motivated, and ambitious Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join a small and professional team on either a full or part-time basis in the office. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a practice, industry, or a professional environment.
Duties:
1. Perform data entry and maintain financial records using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
2. Bookkeeping duties
3. Manage VAT & Sole Trader Accounts, and Self Assessment
4. Work as part of a team, or individually
Requirements:
1. Ideally AAT Qualified or studying towards
2. Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant, bookkeeper, or similar role
3. Experience of using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage would be an advantage
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping
5. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
6. Excellent organisational and time management skills
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
