The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Nurse for the Spring and Summer Term 2025. The successful candidate will need to hold an NNEB, BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Childcare qualification to join our dedicated Nursery team. Working in partnership with the Nursery team, you will need to deliver outstanding Early Years care and education.
Westdene Nursery is set in its own extensive grounds. We offer 25 sessions per day to children aged between 3-4+ years of age. Westdene has a friendly and inclusive environment and our staff are committed to providing high quality play and learning experiences to ensure that children reach their potential. Our recent Ofsted inspection recognised the Nursery environment as used skilfully to entice children to explore, learn and consolidate knowledge in meaningful ways, and judged our Early Years provision as outstanding. Staff are unanimously proud to work at the school, benefitting from a robust professional development offer, which helps them to continue strengthening their skills.
About the role
The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues across the Foundation Stage. Our ideal candidate requires excellent communication skills with colleagues, parents and the local community, to be able to work as a team and to be sensitive to the needs of young children.

Hours: 6 hours per day - 8.45am to 3.15pm on a Thursday and Friday
