We are looking to strengthen our Operations team with a Programme Manager based at Derby with hybrid working available. You will report directly to the Operations Director and your role will o versee, lead and support the regional programme of work including Project Scheduling, Project Management Office and Business Improvement. You will support the business across strategic, tactical and operational phases working with Solutions, Design, Construction and SHEQ colleagues to develop long term plans, current performance information, and lead business opportunities for continuous improvement delivering outperformance for the business, our Clients and their Customers. Key responsibilities will include: Provide programme level performance reporting, insight and analysis to drive continuous improvement in the Region to deliver business success Ensure the provision and quality of Programme Management Information for the whole Portfolio of works Provide insightful analysis that drives business performance, working closely with the national Power BI development team Delivery project Planning services (Primavera P6) for the programme of projects including 4D Maintain resource profiling and risk planning analyses including staffing and key supply chain partners Maintain the strategic forward programme, working with Client, Solutions, Commercial and Operational teams to ensure the forward programme of projects into the Region meets strategic budget commitments Coordinate/lead delivery of business improvement plans covering both long term strategic and short term operational needs Manage internal business and external Client KPM performance including interaction with the Client’s PMO and KPM teams Lead the Senior Management Group coordinated responses and activity with Severn Trent including Management/Exec meetings, audit responses, RFIs Lead regional publicity and marketing activities including award submissions, social media, project papers Own the regional Management Administration Plan Line management duties for Programme Team Provide communication, training and support on the issues above across all tiers of the organisation. Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations. Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback. About You Essential: Experience in programme/multi project delivery and management across a range of project types/sizes Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline. Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to work in close partnership with clients and end users. Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives. Extensive experience in large scale infrastructure project delivery environment Strategic, operational, technical and management skills Desirable: Experience in water / waste water infrastructure Experience in using Primavera or Power project. Chartered or near chartered in a construction discipline Working knowledge of construction Health & Safety.
