Position Overview: My client is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to advise on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including secured lending, general sales and purchases, estate development, leases, and options. The role involves working closely with clients, agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth transactions and high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Draft and handle leases both inside and outside the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 for both landlords and tenants.• Advise on and manage commercial and mixed-use sale and purchase transactions .• Handle acquisition and subsequent plot sale work for small to medium-sized residential developments.• Advise on planning issues and related documents.• Manage secured lending transactions .• Prepare contract packs with supporting documents.• Advise on telecommunication and utility agreements .• Conduct title investigations and handle related legal work.• Draft and manage Deeds of Easement, Deeds of Variation, and other property-related deeds.• Liaise with clients, borrowers, asset managers, and external professionals.• Oversee post-completion matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance.• Attend marketing and networking meetings to enhance the firm’s presence.• Use case management systems effectively.• Manage client billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Requirements: Essential: • Proven experience advising developers, occupiers, estates, private companies, and landowners .• Strong background in commercial property work, particularly Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 matters.• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail .• Commercial awareness with a proactive and financially focused approach.• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a strong team ethos.
