Main duties of the job
* Deliver an effective high quality Aural care nursing service to include the management of an identified caseload, exercising a degree of personal and professional autonomy.
* The post holder will be responsible for the operational management, quality and delivery of the nurse led aural care service.
* The post holder will be responsible for working within the Multidisciplinary Team to empower them to provide excellent standards of patient centred care on an Aural care/ENT programme.
* Reviewing and implementing improvements to ensure that all patients are supported on a seamless pathway.
* To expedite and facilitate patient centred care for ENT patients under the aural care programme.
* Critically evaluate current practice using Care Quality Indicators as agreed with specific SDU leads and the Multi-Disciplinary team.
