The Role
We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Head of Social Care to lead and develop our care services. This is a pivotal role in shaping our strategy, ensuring service excellence, and driving impactful change. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services, managing budgets, and developing a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the strategic development of our social care services, ensuring they align with our mission and values.
2. Oversee operational delivery, ensuring services are compassionate, effective, and person-centred.
3. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities, healthcare providers, and community organisations.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices to uphold our reputation for reliable, high-quality care.
5. Work closely with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to maintain and improve service ratings, striving for a Good or Outstanding inspection outcome.
6. Drive innovation in social care delivery, exploring new models and technologies to enhance services.
7. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining service excellence.
8. Inspire, support, and develop a team of dedicated professionals, developing a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a dynamic and strategic leader with a passion for social care. You will bring:
1. Extensive experience in a senior social care leadership role.
2. A deep understanding of social care regulations, policy, and best practice.
3. Proven experience in maintaining and improving CQC ratings, with a strong track record of achieving Good or better inspection outcomes.
4. A track record of driving service improvement and innovation.
5. Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
6. Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership-building abilities.
7. A compassionate and people-focused approach, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
