This is a pivotal role reporting directly to the Senior HR Manager, this role is integral in synchronising our human resources strategy with overarching business goals, particularly within the Operations division Hood Group is a UK-based insurance provider that partners with start-ups, consumer brands, and large insurers to deliver innovative insurance solutions. Established in 1983 and with over 40 years’ experience working across the insurance industry, the company aims to help its partners, including well-known household brands and high street retailers, such as John Lewis Partnership and Ticker Insurance to name a couple, to transform their insurance proposition by delivering innovative business models and products that enhance customer engagement and drive growth. What will I do in the role? Provide dedicated HR support to the Operations division, enabling managers to implement the people agenda effectively. Utilise key data to inform decisions and recommend strategies to senior stakeholders. Enhance management capabilities through coaching, e-learning, and other development tools. Manage ER casework, performance issues, attendance, and other employee relations matters. Maintain visibility and build robust relationships within your client group and with external stakeholders. Promote and implement initiatives focused on employee engagement and wellbeing. What do I need? Strong generalist HR background, experience as an HR Business Partner, adept in managing change, and a proven ability to add value and improve operational efficiencies. Excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, ability to challenge the status quo, and a history of building strong professional relationships.
