Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly School Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our parents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
1. Greet parents and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
2. Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
3. Manage the reception area, keeping it organised and welcoming.
4. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
5. Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
6. Scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
7. Provide administrative support to other departments as required.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in a school office or administrative role is preferred.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
3. Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
4. Familiarity with ARBOR or SIMS.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to type efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
7. A professional demeanour with a friendly attitude towards clients and colleagues.
8. An Enhanced DBS on the update service is crucial for this role.
