Job Description
They are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician to join their dynamic Product Testing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of physical tests on a broad range of products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine physical testing on PPE according to International and European standards.
2. Operate test equipment and accurately record results in both hard copy and electronic formats.
3. Prepare test samples for analysis.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory and testing areas.
5. Manage sample storage systems effectively.
6. Assist with customer visits and seminars, providing support and technical expertise.
7. Conduct tests both indoors and outdoors, occasionally at heights of up to 8 meters.
8. Continuously seek opportunities to improve testing procedures and laboratory facilities.
Qualifications:
9. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics, minimum grade C.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
11. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow testing procedures accurately.
13. Willingness and ability to perform physical tasks, including setting up test arrangements at ground level and at heights.
14. Flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
15. Excellent time management skills.
