Due to an internal secondment, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Senior Charge Nurse/Senior Charge ODP to join our peri-operative team as Coordinator.
About the Role
As the Interim Theatre Peri-operative Coordinator, you will be responsible for the daily management of theatres whilst ensuring patients receive a high standard of safe, effective and person centred care. This involves communicating with Theatres and PACU/Recovery as well as all areas that have close links to the department e.g. Critical Care, to enable a smooth patient flow resulting in excellent patient outcomes. The post holder will also have a focus on utilisation, ensuring efficient use of theatres to support patients through their peri-operative journey.
You should be able to demonstrate a strong track record of leadership and managing a team, particularly through change. A commitment to quality, evidence-based care is essential, whilst having a can-do attitude.
